@00:45Thanks, though that is just the fact it's an animatic not a full animation. x)

Sorry for inactivity, it's been a busy month... Anyway, Major project work! This is the animatic for our animation this year. I'm working with :devapocaylpsebunny: and ~jinxhellbent, so while I drew the actual panels, this was pretty much a collab. And Apocalypse put 'em together. :3

Anyway, our project this year's based on the awesome Mouse Guard comics by David Petersen. So setting is owned by him. Used with permission and all that.

Enjoy!

@00:31I love the frames! You should put more of those in your animation? ;)

@01:10I've read some of the Mouse Guard stuff. Neato. I'd offer to help out, but I have 2 animation jobs going right now, plus my own animated project with muskrats! Similar setting as with mouse guard. If you wanna check it out (chapter 1 that is), you can see it at my deviantart page.

@01:10Thanks. Believe it or not, this was a project of mine that started before I even knew Mouse Guard existed. And here I thought I was being all original. :P
As I was starting the animation to chapter 1, my director at work introduced me to Mouse Guard and other graphic novels. Of all the ones he's introduced me to, I'd have to put Mouse Guard up there right behind Mouse Templar (Love zero to hero stories) and of course my favorite by far: "Bone".

@01:10Oh, I can believe it - that setting's been done a lot (Redwall's been around for ages, and books like Secret of NIMH before that) and there's still room for originality. :)
Heh, yeah, been meaning to read Mouse Templar for a while - especially because it essentially looks like a style combo between Mouse Guard and my own personal favourite, Hellboy. I've not read Bone but I know it's meant to be a seminal work - I've just always thought the art looked a bit at odds with the content. Shall be sure to read it when I get chance, though. :)
